GEE Secures Contract for Groundbreaking Waste Management Facility in Sabah, Malaysia

Thrilled to announce that GEE secured the tender to construct the first-ever Integrated Scheduled Waste Management Facility in the Sipitang Oil & Gas Industrial Park, Sabah. Geared to handle a monthly capacity of 10,000 tonnes of oil-based waste and 4,000 tonnes of other wastes, our aim is to transform waste into valuable materials with economic significance.

The comprehensive facility incorporates a state-of-the-art Anaerobic Desorption and Dehydration Unit (ADDU) and a solidification plant to valorize the ash from the pyrolysis process. Additionally, it features a wastewater treatment plant designed for adaptability, ensuring it can cater to varying compositions of wastewater over time. This groundbreaking project is the first of its kind in South East Asia and marks a pivotal stride towards sustainable waste management in the region.
